Safety Barriers Are Being Deployed!
Just a reminder that they have 800+ linear feet of the safety barriers and are actively collecting plastic containers (water bottles, milk jugs, etc) with the #CapsOn to fill them. The deployed bags are slowly spreading around the road course but we have many more to fill. PLEASE save your bottles and bring them to the PBIR. They’re trying to Save A Rider/Racer one bottle at a time. These are a proven system used by Canadian Rider Safety Fund and the Canadian Superbike Championship.
If you own or work at a business that accumulates recycles plastic bottles or containers they have started providing the actual safety barriers to fill at the business site. Having the barriers is an extra incentive to save the bottles!
Don’t forget to bring to your recycles bottles #CapsOn
Did We Mention They Started a Race Series??
FMRRA just had their opening weekend recently and had nearly 40 bikes on multiple race grids. It was a nice turnaround to the region that has seen a decline in racing spanning the last half a decade or more. They are racing at four tracks and always trying to improve the series. If you are a track day guy and have some interest, this a good chance to improve your skills. Shoot them an email with any comments or questions.
