Usually all the articles of USA2Ride’s pages are written talking about someone else news, or group, or destination. But this article is about Julie’s experiences in Austin. She will tell her story, her point of view of the most amazing experience that she has in these last months.

She went to Austin, Texas, last April 8th to 10th to watch the latest MOTOGP Race and in the next couple of lines, all the excitement and joy will be described by her:

“It was my first time watching a MOTOGP Championship in my life, live with all sounds and colors and smell. I never thought that, in some moment, I could be face to face and talk with the three best races in the world. I had a complete weekend, and watching the race was just one of the most amazing things that I did.

I had the opportunity to talk with Dani Pedrosa, asking him about the tires (it was the first thing that came in mind, I was very emotional); and of course, I asked him to say hello to USA2Ride while he signed my T-Shirt and take some pictures and videos. He is very kind. And to prove what I am telling, another remarkable memory was when I saw Dani crashing against Dovizioso.

I will explain why: Dovizioso  was out of the race at Argentina and now again, because of someone else. But in this case, Dani Pedrosa proved to be an honorable man when he run in the middle of the track to help Dovi and when he stopped at the paddock, the first thing was run again to the Ducati Team to check the Italian guy and apologize him. And to testify what I am saying, the media is telling: …small in stature but a giant in character heart and sympathy. And I had had the honor and pleasure to had talked with him a few words last race.

Why I didn’t talk so much about VR…. Okay, I’ll explain again. He crashed in the start of the race…unfortunately and  the only thing I have to say is that he autographed  my T-Shirt and said “Ciao” to USA2Ride and I could stay at his front for some few minutes while he helps me to stretch my T-Shirt to sign! Of course, I’m still his fan!

Another surprises in Austin:

I got a picture, on Saturday with Romano Fenatti and seeing him winning the MOTO 3 on Sunday, was an amazing surprise! Still on Saturday, I met Ben Spies, a World Superbike Champion and Moto GP retired pilot and Josh Hayes, a MOTOAMERICA racer, from Yamaha, 4 times AMA Superbike winner and 3rd places at Superbike Race (1 and 2) on Sunday. Also I had talked a little bit with Ben Spies and Dani Pedrosa, at Unlimited Parts over the weekend where they say hello to USA2Ride.

MY EXPERIENCE???? I just can say SPEECHLESS and PRICELESS. Be in front of my idols, talk with them, take pictures, have my t-shirt signed…I’m very grateful to MOTOR CAFE Store that give me the possibility to live this entire experience at COTA. Next year I will go again, for sure.

All right, at the end, the podium was Marc Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo and Andrea Iannone, in 4th Maverick Viñales and 5th Aleix Espargaró from Suzuki Team… and everything can be reached on MOTO GP Channel, TVs Channels, unless my sweet and unforgettable  memories of this amazing weekend.”
